Welcome to The Orchard, A holistic learning hub providing  alternative provision, craft workshops.

Our mission statement is to grow together.

 

Working holistically with parents and children we want everyone to feel a sense of belonging at The Orchard. We recognise all individuals and their talents and believe that everyone is equal.

 

All children can have additional needs at times. Whatever the need, developmental, learning, communication, behaviour or emotional wellbeing we will consistently be supportive to not just the child but the family around them.

 

We provide children and young people with positive role models who will encourage exemplary behaviours and acceptance, and will encourage responsibility for our own actions, so children can relate positively to others.

 

We utilise arts and crafts, woodwork, animal care, farm to fork sustainability, recreational learning and seasonal opportunities. We aim to build self esteem through hands on experience.

Our team comprises qualified teaching staff, an art therapist, a mindfulness practitioner, talented craftsmen, experienced gardeners and a qualified counsellor.
